## Why do you need design thinking activities?

Learning Design Thinking via just articles and books is not enough. It is important to actually put it into practice. In this section, you will find a variety of useful design thinking activities used in industry to build real products.&#x20;

We highly recommend that you try these out in a project of your own as these are great forms of project facilitators and enablers.&#x20;

## Sprint

The sprint is a five-day process for answering critical business questions through design, prototyping, and testing ideas with customers. Developed at [GV](http://gv.com/), it’s a “greatest hits” of business strategy, innovation, behavior science, design thinking, and more—packaged into a battle-tested process that any team can use.

Their website a perfect DIY guide, including daily checklists, videos, and other resources to allow you to conduct your own design sprint activities at work.
